In 1973, Family Service Agency developed Family Connection - the Valley's first home childcare service. Today, Family Connection remains a leader in agency-sponsored family childcare. Home childcare is often the preferred option of families with young children, offering them consistency and security. Over the years, over 2,000 families have relied on Family Connection to train caregivers and assist them in selecting one for their children.

The Family Connection program has worked with other not-for-profit agencies and the Arizona Department of Economic Security to provide services that include:

Child Care Resource and Referral Services
Enhanced Training for child care providers and parents

At no charge to participants, Family Connection presents several two-hour training classes, four-hour Enhanced Training classes and 60-hour Early Childhood Professional training classes through-out the valley and the State.

Through the Family Connection program, caregivers are offered FREE materials to help them get started. A lending library of playpens, portable cribs and other equipment is also available.
